Signs It May Be Time for a New AC System

A repair can often extend the life of an existing unit, but there are times when a new installation may offer a more practical long-term solution.

  • Your System Needs Repairs More Often

Repeated service calls can make an older unit difficult to rely on.

  • Cooling Is Uneven From Room to Room

Persistent hot spots may point to equipment, airflow, or sizing concerns worth evaluating.

  • The Unit Runs for Long Periods

Excessive runtime can indicate that the system is struggling to keep up with the home’s cooling needs.

  • Comfort Has Changed Since You Moved In or Renovated

Additions, remodeled spaces, and lifestyle changes can alter cooling demand.

  • You Want Better Control Over Indoor Comfort

A new system may provide features that better support your temperature and humidity preferences.

  • You Are Building or Completing a Major Remodel

New construction and renovations require a thoughtful air conditioner installation plan.

Choosing the Right Cooling System

The right air conditioner is not simply a replacement for the old one. System capacity, home layout, insulation, windows, ductwork, humidity, and equipment features can all influence the outcome of an installation.

Our AC installation company takes time to review the home and discuss the options available. We help you compare systems, understand the installation scope, and make a decision based on your comfort priorities—not a rushed guess.

Proper planning helps avoid problems that can arise when equipment is poorly matched to the home or when important installation details are overlooked.

AC Installation Services
We Provide

A successful installation begins with understanding your home and the way you want it to feel. We guide the process from system selection through final testing, with attention to comfort, efficiency, and long-term equipment performance.

In-Home Installation
Consultations

We review your current setup, comfort concerns, home characteristics, and project goals before making recommendations that fit your space, cooling priorities, and expected system use.

System Selection Guidance

Our team explains equipment options and helps you compare the features and practical considerations that apply to your home, budget, comfort preferences, and installation requirements.

Air Conditioner Sizing

We consider the factors that affect cooling demand so the selected system is appropriate for the space it will serve, rather than simply matching the old unit.

Replacement System
Installation

When you are replacing existing equipment, we coordinate the transition and install the approved new system with careful attention to connections, placement, and overall system compatibility.

Start-Up, Testing,
and Walkthrough

After installation, we test the system and show you how to use the basic controls and features, including thermostat operation, filter access, and recommended maintenance steps.

New Construction and
Remodel AC Installation

Our AC installation contractors work with project requirements to help plan equipment and connections for new or updated spaces, coordinating the cooling system with your finished layout.

What to Expect During AC Installation

A new AC system is a significant home investment. We keep the process organized by explaining the plan, completing the necessary installation work, and confirming performance before the project is finished.

Your installation may include:

  • Evaluation of the existing system and cooling needs
  • Discussion of equipment choices
  • Review of system-sizing considerations
  • Planning for equipment location and access
  • Removal or transition of old equipment when applicable
  • Installation of indoor and outdoor components
  • Electrical and thermostat connections
  • Start-up testing and a final customer walkthrough

We want you to know what is being installed, why it was selected, and how it should operate in your home.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Came home to a 90-degree house with the AC blowing hot air—of course, it was after hours. Thankfully, James Lorenzo was the technician on call. He arrived quickly, was professional, kind, and thorough. He showed us the part that had burned out and had our system cooling again in no time. So grateful for the fast and reliable service!

Lance Hawk was great at servicing my hvac. He went above to make sure I was taken care of. 7/9/25 update: Scott Nelson helped me through a terrible situation as a patient of Dr Gruining. He was kind, professional and very patient with me. He came last Saturday where we discovered my duct work was holding water despite my many services (and complaints of high humidity prior) and had the duct work replaced correctly in a very timely manner, even redirecting the drain that yall previously redirected (into an arra that floods with rain so it made it difficult to drain during rains. The ducts had so much water it was pulling off the back of the unit (unit NOT installed by Cool air) The cost to replace the ducts wasn't easy as a single parent who is paying a mortgage on a new place Ian took. Scott came back today thoroughly going thru checking the duct work, cleaning and checking outside unit, sanitation of duct work and even using a thermal camera to double check areas. He was kingmaker thorough and patient with me and explained everything to me. I just don't understand how long this went on with keeping up with my PMA services, but I'm very happy with Scott his work, kindness and compassion. I'm praying i can now continue to heal, although it says it will take many days to dry out home. I have one dehumidifier I'm using and moving around to try to assist dry out. Dr Gruining has been copied on all paperwork.

I had Coolair install a mini split garage AC and the installers (Julio and William) were outstanding. They were both very personable and treated our house as if it were their own. Their work was extremely neat and professional, all pipes/lines were straight and plumb, the unit looks and works great. I highly recommend Coolair. Update…(7-8-25) I was very pleased with my last two cleanings, 1st by Aaron and 2nd by Dakota. Both were very professional, explained everything clearly and answered all my questions and kept everything clean and neat. I would highly recommend either technician for your HVAC needs.

My experience with Coolair, especially with Roland Finley, was exceptional. Roland was very kind and explained what was going on with my A/C unit and guided me along the way, as a family member would. Response time was great and I am so grateful that Roland was sent my way. Thank you, Coolair and, especially ROLAND!
